Campfire stories…

If you tell a story around an empty campfire and nobody hears it…

Social media is where we all…socialize?…

But back in the day,

Waaaaaaay back in the day,

We’d sit eye to eye across an open flame and warm our minds and souls with epic adventures told to educate and entertain.

Now we click fast.

If it doesn’t catch our attention within 3 seconds,

It’s gone,

It doesn’t matter.

Swipe.

But something is lost when we don’t relax and experience long-form storytelling.

Take the time to sit with someone you love or someone you don’t even know, and ask them to tell you a story. Any story. A meaningful story to them.

Watch. Listen. Fight the urge to check your phone.

You can give up 5 minutes to focus on another person doing the most human of acts.
